Optimized · Bracket 4 · dual-engine Boros
Feather turns targeted spells into a recurring hand. Sunforger turns open mana into the exact answer. Redline adds decisive closing lines and higher velocity without becoming a tournament fast-mana shell.
Exact configuration diff
Not a generic good-stuff transplant. Every exchanged slot either finds an engine, compresses a finish, raises recovery, or makes Sunforger more dangerous.
Power contract
Upper Bracket 4 is an intent, not an accident of card count.
These omissions express the intended table. They do not prove a bracket by themselves: disclose compact combos and repeated turns, and match the pod’s expectations.
Control surface
Choose which engine is online. The field manual changes the priority order and the mistakes to avoid.
Finish architecture
Protect the attempt with Silence, Orim’s Chant, Grand Abolisher or Ranger-Captain before committing. Each route has explicit setup, costs and interruption points.
Grand Abolisher constrains opposing spells and artifact, creature and enchantment abilities on your turn; land abilities and triggered abilities can still matter. Ranger-Captain stops opposing noncreature spells for the turn, not all interaction. Resolve these shields before committing.
Cloud enters unequipped and normally tutors once. While equipped, it doubles Sword of Feast and Famine’s trigger; it does not double Sunforger’s activation. Fervent Champion’s reduction applies only to equip abilities targeting itself. Forge Anew changes equip timing only on your turn and waives only the first equip activation that turn.
Ephemerate can repeat Stoneforge, Cloud, recruiter and Ranger-Captain entry triggers, but the returned creature is a new object and leaves its Equipment behind. It does not save the team from a wipe. Choose Feather’s return or rebound’s exile replacement; do not claim both. Sevinne’s Reclamation recovers Sunforger, Station, Sundial, Breach and other eligible permanents; flashback supplies an additional copy.
Magnetic Theft targets both Equipment and a creature. It returns through Feather when the creature is yours, at the next end step rather than immediately. Sunforger loses its +4 power as soon as it is unattached to pay the activation cost.

Pick the problem, then choose the line that preserves the most mana and information.
Opening protocol
Keep an engine path, not seven individually powerful cards. A good opener casts Feather or presents credible Sunforger access by turn three or four with protection or velocity behind it.
Turn map
Redline is strongest when it looks patient. The threat is not tapping out—it is making every open red and white mana ambiguous.
Fix colors, deploy compact mana, or convert a tutor into Sunforger. Avoid exposing Feather without a follow-up.
Feather plus one protected cantrip starts compounding. Sunforger plus open mana starts controlling. Do not force both at once.
Assess a protected finish or stock the graveyard for Breach. Mentor remains a combat fallback, but new tokens need time or another turn. The turn labels are sequencing guidance, not a measured win-speed claim.
Resolve a silence effect before the critical stack, reserve Sundial or Grace for Chance, and preserve escape fuel before starting Station.
Card library
Search rules text, isolate roles, or show only the twenty-two cards that separate Redline from the Bracket-3 list.
No cards match that signal.
Deck telemetry
Role density and curve are derived from the exact selected 100, not a hand-maintained summary.
The 6+ column includes printed values; alternate costs and reductions are not modeled.
Thirty-second pregame statement
“This is upper Bracket 4 Feather/Sunforger. It has seven Game Changers, strong tutors, Dualcaster with Twinflame or Heat Shimmer, a finite Breach/Station engine, and repeated Chance for Glory turns through Sundial. It skips the dense fast-mana and tournament-stax packages.”
