Operations map

From first chair to midnight launch.

Everything remains readable without scripts. The controls simply isolate one phase of the route.

01 · arrival

Read the weather before opening the lifts

Keep two practical blue sources, early acceleration, and either a card engine or relevant interaction. Mishra's Workshop powers artifacts but cannot cast Urza or hold up a blue answer; a hand made only of monuments and colorless burst mana goes back.

Cards: Urza, Lord High Artificer · Mishra's Workshop · Arcane Signet · Mystic Remora

02 · containment

Close the lifts only when you own the switch

Resolve Winter Orb or Static Orb after Urza can tap it for mana before your untap, turning a symmetrical restriction into your timetable. Trinisphere is the speed limit for an accelerating table, not an automatic turn-three play when it would strand your own setup.

Cards: Winter Orb · Static Orb · Trinisphere · Urza, Lord High Artificer

03 · systems

Bring the construct reactor online

Deadeye Navigator with Urza and either Panharmonicon or Roaming Throne makes two Constructs per blink. Those new artifacts may immediately be tapped through Urza's ability to pay the next 1U. With Fateful Discovery present, choose a stopping point before the repeated entries exhaust the library.

Cards: Deadeye Navigator · Panharmonicon · Roaming Throne · Fateful Discovery

04 · systems

Route dessert service into the grid

Bag End Banquet plus Urza turns its three Foods and its own activation into six mana immediately. Panharmonicon doubles the Food delivery, while Unwinding Clock resets the whole station on every opposing untap. Use that finite burst to keep interaction available or activate the larger machinery.

Cards: Bag End Banquet · Panharmonicon · Unwinding Clock · Planar Bridge

05 · fireworks

Start the midnight assembly line

Myr Battlesphere, Ashnod's Altar, and Nim Deathmantle form the cleanest three-piece finish: sacrifice the Battlesphere and two Myr for six, pay four to return it, then repeat for two mana and two Myr per cycle. Announce the pieces as the machine appears.

Cards: Myr Battlesphere · Ashnod's Altar · Nim Deathmantle

06 · fireworks

The avalanche button is not subtle

Mycosynth Lattice makes every permanent an artifact, Darksteel Forge shields your board, and Nevinyrral's Disk removes the rest—including opposing lands. This is the resort's world-ending button and belongs in the pregame conversation; do not present it as an ordinary reset.

Cards: Mycosynth Lattice · Darksteel Forge · Nevinyrral's Disk

07 · fireworks

Let the mountain clock count in public

Unwinding Clock untaps The Millennium Calendar during each opponent's untap so it can activate every turn, but only your own untap adds the Calendar's first counters. Rings of Brighthearth copies the doubling activation, turning N counters into 4N. The visible countdown gives the table a clear answer window.

Cards: The Millennium Calendar · Unwinding Clock · Rings of Brighthearth

08 · arrival

Restart after the machinery is cleared

Academy Ruins and Buried Ruin recover a key artifact; Memory Jar and Time Spiral rebuild an empty hand. Re-establish cards before tutoring for a finale. A second compact engine is less valuable than restoring Urza, blue access, and one live answer.
